After months of extensive renovations, Briar Patch Cottage is complete and ready to open! Friends and family know how momentous of an occasion this is for us- we appreciate all of the love, support, interest, and encouragement we’ve received during the whole process- it has meant to much to us.

We’ve poured our hearts and souls into every corner of this cottage property. Among all that has been overhauled and modernized (and there was a LOT), we’ve endeavored to preserve what is uniquely bespoke to the structure and the time period in which it was built. Every detail here has a story- from the salvaged kitchen cabinetry, to the rustic beams spanning the ceilings, to the glittering chandeliers gracing its centers. We hope that those who stay here will appreciate the details and magic engraved here by the passage of time and history.

A block and a half from Main Street in Julian, the cottage is located just steps away from shops and eateries. It has been our delight, from the very front porch, to enjoy the music of the town clock echoing through the streets as it strikes the top of the hour, and the scents of restaurants carried on the wind when the breeze blows just right. One of the first things that stood out to us about this property is just how centrally located it is- I still pinch myself whenever I walk out the door- we hope it is an aspect that our guests will be delighted by as well (especially during the upcoming holiday season, when parking is harder to come by).
